The BLACKEST gel eyeliner - INGLOT

This may sound strange, how can you get blacker than black... but sometimes black eyeliner just isnt black enough, and can sometimes dry more grey.
The Inglot gel eyeliner in shade #77 is by far the best eyeliner and the blackest!
It glides on so smooth, i use the Sigma E10 brush for a fine line.
You can see me using this eyeliner in my youtube video here : CLICK HERE

You can buy it from the shop if you have one near you, i know Westfield Shepard's Bush have a shop if you live in London or plan to travel there. If like me you don't live there or go there regularly then you can purchase online :   http://www.inglotuk.com/Eyeliner-AMC_Eyeliner_Gel.html

It is £12 + Postage (£5) if you buy online..
For £12 it really isn't expensive, you won't find a cheaper alternative as amazing as this.

It lasts all day and night, it also doesn't rub off! I have swatched a line on my hand (see photo below)
I rubbed it with my finger once it had set and i didn't budge.

I wont be buying any other liner as this is just so good i can't fault it. If you are a beginner with eyeliner or gel liners then i would maybe suggest practising first or using an angled brush as its stiffer and easier to handle, but if you want to give it a go with the E10 or similar brush, or if you are good at doing eyeliner then i suggest the sigma E10, it gives a beautiful finish.

L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Lipstick | 290 Plum Passion

My newest lipstick and one that i mentioned in my beauty haul video click here.
I had been looking for a plum/Raspberry lipstick for a while, this is more on the plum side than raspberry but i still love the colour.

This for me is one of those colours that goes with most makeup looks and can be worn day to night.. I also think that it suits all skin tones and hair colours, its an all round lip colour.

It's quite moisturising, and has a slight shine. I prefer matte or satin lipsticks but as this doesn't have much of a shine i don't mind it.
There isn't really many cons about this other than it costs £8.19 which is kinda pricey and the lid only closes one way, so you can't just put the lid on anyway you want, it has to clip, if this makes any sense lol. It's not a big deal, just a little annoying.

There isn't much more i can say really, but im sure i will be using this in makeup tutorials, so if you aren't subscribed to my youtube channel and want to see videos by me and of this lipstick too click here to subscribe. Ben Nye Luxury Powder | Buff. Review

This is unused, it wont come full to the top.

I am a big fan of Ben Nye luxury powders, I already own the famous by Kim Kardashians makeup artist - Mario Dedivanovic banana powder.
I have done a video review on both powders so click here to see a full review and more!

These powders are amazing, i don't think there is any other powder to compare to these.
My under eye creases a lot so i love this powder to set my concealer and even some grease prone areas like forehead, nose and chin. It really does last all day! Its my holy grail product.
You can use this all over the face but unless you are super greasy it's not necessary, plus no one likes a powder face :|

There are hardly any blog reviews or youtube video reviews on this shade which is called Buff, i found that annoying when trying to look it up before i bought it, as i have to buy online so i need reviews and photo's to see whats best for me.
As you can see the packaging has a sifter top which i know a lot of people complain about saying that it's "awkward" "Crappy" "The worst packaging ever" .... I hate when people say that! Seriously though, this is theatrical makeup, just because Kim Kardashian made it famous doesn't mean it's a product for the high street. There is no need for fancy packaging, it wasn't made for that. If this was a high street brand like Maybelline or even Mac I'd understand it not being great packaging, but it's not so people need to get over it. Rant over.

This isnt blended in fully. You wouldnt be able to see it if it was.. Remember that my hand is different to my face colour*

Obviously my hands are a bit paler than my face but i wanted to show you the powder.
This matches my skin tone the best, i was actually stuck between cameo and buff, but decided cameo would be too pale for me and i was right. Buff has a bit of colour to it.
I would say that its best for warmer skin tones i.e Mac NW 's. Im unsure of NC shades. If you are more yellow in your skin then i would probably recommend the banana powder, but still see for yourself anyway..
I am an NW20 or a mix of NW20/25. This shade (buff) blends in nicely with my skin tone. My Nars sheer glow shade is Santa fe if that helps.

To see this makeup tutorial click here. This was using NW20 concealer so that gave me a highlight on its own...

These powders are micro milled so they are super fine and soft.
They have a great range of shades from light to dark skin tones, and also come in translucent and neutral set, also rose petal.
You may think that this bottle (1.5oz/42gm) is small, but it will last a very very long time!
You need to use it sparingly, you really don't need much at all.

Hopefully i have explained it enough to help anyone that wants to buy it or know more about it.

Don't forget to check my youtube channel and subscribe for videos on makeup, fashion, life, reviews etc... Also any video suggestions you have, leave me comments on my videos!

There aren't many websites that sell these powders in the UK but i either get mine from :
These powders sell out fast! and they don't come back in stock as fast as they sell, so if you do want it then don't hesitate because you could be waiting months. There are a few places in London that sell it. As for the rest of the UK im unsure of places that would sell it but im sure google will tell you:)

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer | Reckless. Review

Today i wanted to share this product with you as i have seen so many reviews on these stating how nice they are..... well i can say they are not nice at all.

The only nice thing about it is the packaging, it has that frosty glass look which i like. It's got the doe foot applicator which works well for this type of product.
It has all the right things for a velvet lacquer but the lacquer itself isnt great at all..which is such a shame.

With flash

Without flash

Why I dislike it:

  • It doesn't apply nice. It's feels thick although it's not, i just don't like the feeling and i think it applies with a messy look, you have to be careful when applying to not make any mistake, which takes me onto my next point.....
  • It's almost impossible to take off! It stains like craaaazy, so even if you make a small mistake which happened to me, good luck getting it off.
  • Dries to a dry/sticky feel, yes dry and sticky, which i know sounds weird but that's because it is weird.. that sticky feeling is uncomfortable. I know i have product on my lips because i can feel it constantly.
  • Doesn't look or feel like velvet.

For £3 it is a great price but it's a shame the product couldn't be as good.

Let me know what you think about this product.

I hate this product - Nad's Brazilian and Bikini wax Review

Nads.com

The worst wax i have ever used!
I have absolutely no pro's about this product whatsoever. Before i purchased it i looked up reviews and all i could find were people saying how much they loved this product and how they "find it so easy to use", "quick and clean", "much better than strips/cotton strips", Which made me think this must be a great product, and the fact it said it's good for dark coarse hair.

So here is my opinion on it - First of all, i spent more time at the microwave trying to heat it up than i spent waxing myself.. It took forever to melt, and once it got to the "honey consistency" which most of it didn't, it got hard and stringy SO quick! I could only wax about 3 times (small patches) before i had to heat up again. One of the lolly sticks, it comes with two, snapped in my hand trying to stir the wax and cut my finger!

It says it has a mango and peach scent, i really didn't smell that. The product is not tested on animals, well that's one pro thing then....but thats not exactly going to help with my waxing.
As for the application, it wasn't hard to apply which it shouldn't be anyway, but trying to remove it was sometimes difficult. It did remove most hairs but because the wax was hard you could only do small patches at a time, unlike using wax with cotton strips, they can do a larger area.
As i said before i kept having to go and heat it up again for a while before it was enough to come back and wax a couple more areas.
At some points it was so hard to remove it was like super-glue.
I have had a Brazilian wax done a few times before at the salon and not once did i find it painful, but using this was painful.

I got so fed up with it that i just had to stop. In the end i did about 5 small patches which really isn't a lot, the wax was just so difficult to use!
It was such a waste but there really wasn't anything i could do.
At £9.49 it's kind of pricey too. I have heard so much good things about Nad's that i thought it was worth it, IT'S REALLY NOT!

It puts me off trying any of their other products, tbh i don't think i will.
I do not recommend you trying this product and i don't see how so many people said they liked it!?

Have you tried this? Did you want to try this? Let me know in the comments.

Urban Decay naked 3 palette REVIEW

Yet another review of the naked 3 palette...
There is 12 new shades – three mattes and nine shimmers - in a rose gold metal case (which i love) with a dual-ended eye brush, like the naked 2 but again i don't like their brushes..
It also comes with samples of each of their primers.

All 12 shades

Strange – “Pale neutral pink matte-satin“. This is great as a base or brow highlighter.
Dust – “Metallic pink shimmer with glitter“. A great glittery pale pink shade.
Burnout – “Light pinky-peach satin“. Great for all over the lid for a subtle look, i like to mix it with the shade Dust.
Limit – “Light dusty rose matte“. This is more of a crease shade for me, definitely warms the eye and is buildable to create a deeper look.
Buzz – “Metallic rose shimmer with silver glitter“. A shade i use A LOT! i like to use as a pop of colour in the centre of the lid.
Trick - “Light metallic pinky-copper shimmer with tonal sparkle“. Lovely rusty gold shade perfect for nights out.
Nooner – “Medium pinky-brown matte“. Another great crease shade, blends beautifully as a transition colour with 'Limit'. An all over lid shade too, the matte finish is like butter as it glides across the lid. Love it.
Liar – “Medium metallic mauve shimmer“. The most gold of the golden shades.
Factory – “Pinky-brown satin“. Lovely mixed with the mattes. Outer-eye crease shade or lid.
Mugshot – “Metallic taupe shimmer with slight pink shift“.I'd say its my least fave shade. I would prefer it if it was a matte shade.
Darkside – “Deep taupe-mauve satin“. A deep purple brown shade. I love this one, its great for a smoky eye - day or night.
Blackheart - “Smoky black matte with rosy red micro-sparkle“. This and darkside look great together for a smoky look. Very similar to Mac Beauty marked shadow.

This is by far my favourite of the three palettes. Do you have a favourite?
Its one of those things that i don't really need but I'm not satisfied unless I have the complete trilogy.. I guess that's what they thought when making these palettes too... you can't just have one.
At £37 it's quite pricey but well worth it. I get a lot of use out of it and it's great for travelling, like on my recent trip to Paris, it was all i needed.

Could this be the best foundation ever..? Nars sheer glow review/foundation match.

Foundation match: I went to Nars in westfield shepherds bush to get a match on the sheer glow foundation.
The guy who helped me was nice, straight to the point and only did was i asked for.
I had no makeup on that day so it would be a correct match, i would advice everyone to do the same!
He first put a colour chart against my face and asked me what section of shade i thought i was (light/medium or dark) I choose medium to which he agreed. He then chose 3 medium shades he thought i might be (fiji, punjab and santa fe), and swatched them in a line near my jaw, and asked me which one wasn't right, to then remove. I chose fiji, and he agreed, it was far too light, and actually is a light shade, its light 5, its too yellow undertoned. I then had to choose from the two that i thought was the correct shade, to which i chose Santa Fe, and he agreed, punjab was too golden.
I thought the way he did it was really great, i think all Nars foundation matches are like this, but it was my first time. I like how they involve you.
Santa Fe is a perfect match for me!

Now to the foundation. Its by far the best foundation i have ever used!
It's £30.50 which yes sounds expensive but compared to most high end foundations its around the same price.

  • It's light on your skin
  • Easy to apply
  • Not thick
  • Medium / Buildable
  • You only need a small amount
  • Lasts all day
  • Gives you a nice complexion, not shiny
  • Evens out skin tone
  • Fragrance free
Its meant for normal / normal to dry skin types, but i have combination skin. My cheeks are normal, forehead and chin can be oily and my nose is mostly dry. I actually find that its better on normal / combination skin types because it can (like most foundations) cling to dry flaky skin. You should exfoliate anyway.
The only thing i don't like about it is that it has no SPF, but it doesn't effect the foundation so its not that bad, its just a personal preference, its always good to have an spf foundation.
Packaging wise, i think its quite cute and compact. I like the glass bottle and the square shape. It doesn't come with a pump which a lot of people don't seem to like. I personally don't mind that it doesn't come with a pump, its not meant to have a one because it's a foundation that need to be shaken before you use it. Having a pump won't shake the foundation that has been left in the tube from the last time you used it.... but you can buy one for £3 if you want to.
If you want a concealer to go with it and your shade is also santa fe, then 'custard' concealer shade is whats recommended by nars, but try before you buy!

I love this foundation, i cannot fault it.
I will most defiantly be purchasing it again.
