Bourjois healthy mix serum foundation.
Could this be the best drugstore foundation?
I have tried this foundation for the past 2 weeks and can now say that yes this is my favourite drugstore foundation that i've tried so far...
I am verrrry picky when it comes to drugstore foundations, i can never find ones that are perfect, not to say that this one is, because it's not..BUT it is almost everything i would want in a foundation.
Why i like it: Well, for a start it matches my skin tone, which is the most important.
I never seem to be able to find one that does. It is either too yellow or too orange (cold/warm), and if i do find one that is close it's always a little too light, meaning contour or bronze more to add the colour back into my skin, i shouldn't have to do that...
*The drugstore foundation i was using before this was Revlon colorstay in natural beige (too light for me so contoured more). I liked how it was on my skin so thats why i used it until i started to see it would dry my skin out. I'm combination/oily!
So kudos for matching my skin tone for once - i use 53 Beige Clair.
It has great medium coverage that can be buildable.
It blends well into the skin to look like skin, i dont find it cakey at all, and it doesn't dry out my skin.
It can seem like airbrushed skin when fully blended which i love!
The only thing i'm not too keen on is that it can make me look oily after a few hours, even though i powder my face. If i blot my face and/or powder again its ok.

Overall for me this is great as a cheaper alternative to my NARS foundations that i love.
I only use drugstore when i have ran out of NARS. I treat it as a backup product because NARS can be expensive and i can't always buy it straight after one is empty, i also like to know that there is cheaper alternatives out there that i can use.
Definitely worth a try!
